On September 9th 2010 the statues of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels were moved from the Marx-Engels Forum/Berlin to their new place in Liebknechtstrasse/Berlin, now looking towards west. The bronze statues were originally installed in 1986, which was documented by east-german photographer Sybille Bergemann.
